The Private Security Industry Authority (PSiRA) has commissioned Urban-Econ Development Economists to analyse the use of public liability insurance amongst security service providers.
Your participation and insights are vital in achieving the objectives of the study, particularly in informing PSiRA as to why certain security providers do not have public liability insurance. Ultimately, the study will seek to achieve the following
objectives

To investigate the reasons why some private security companies do not have public liability insurance;

To explore the perceived benefits and challenges associated with obtaining and maintaining public liability insurance among private security providers;

To support PSiRA’s mandate to protect the interests of the public and the industry by promoting accountability and financial risk management through insurance coverage;

To determine the proportion of private security companies that currently have public liability insurance coverage;

To identify the types and levels of public liability insurance held by security companies.
